We are very pleased to announce that our shared Microsoft SQL Server servers now support SSL secured connections. Users can now make SSL secured connections to our SQL Server servers for secured communications between remote clients such as SQL Server Management Studio and the SQL Server service. This is perfect for users who host billing databases, client personal information and other types of sensitive information and access their database remotely for backups, management and updating.
To connect through SSL please check if your client supports it (such as SQL Server Management Studio and Navicat, which both support SSL) and then make sure that the “Use Encrypted Connection” or “Encrypted” option is checked or selected.
Thank you again for choosing ASPnix as your web hosting provider!
