Tomorrow evening (11-5-2015) at 8PM MST we will be upgrading our MSSQL01 server farm’s processors to more powerful E5 Xeons. Currently we are noticing some large spikes in CPU usage that we are not very happy with. The spikes in CPU usage may cause issues for customers and their applications, so we’ve ordered several new extremely high-end replacement E5 Xeons.
The downtime for this upgrade will be very minimal, 5 – 10 minutes at the most.
