We are very pleased to announce that we now support Push Notifications from our client area! Push Notifications are instant notifications sent directly to your mobile device or tablet, so you can be alerted of account changes, new invoices, support ticket responses and more, instantly! Our push system utilizes the Pushover API and application to handle sending notifications, to receive Push Notifications from our client area you will need to install the Pushover client which is currently available for iOS and Android devices.
Why is this useful and why should you enable this, you already get email notifications… Email is great, but it can be delayed, marked as spam, if your account is suspended you may not get any emails at all, you may not check emails when on the road or if you do not have your email account on your mobile device… Push Notifications put all the hassle of configuring email accounts, paying for ActiveSync monthly to receive push email notifications and other hassles with emails. Push Notifications are instant or near instant, the moment our system completes an action such as generating a new invoice, a new support ticket, account is suspended or unsuspended the Push Notification is sent and within 1 – 2 seconds your device has the notification.
If you have any questions, please contact our support department, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have!
awesome feature
Support for Windows Phone 8 would be great.
Unfortunately this is up to Pushover to make a Windows Phone client for their services. We hope they do!
OK, I bought the Pushover App for my iPhone. Now, how do I configure it for receiving push notifications from ASPnix?
Do I need the Pushover Addon for WHMCS? https://aspnix.com/whmcs-modules-development/pushover-addon-for-whmcs/ (It costs $15 +$10/year.) Or is there another registration method?
I have multiple web sites and VPS. Do I need an Addon app for each one?
Thanks!
